EWS Removal
The EWS (Electronic Immobilizer System) is BMW's factory anti-theft system that pairs the DME to a specific key and CAS/EWS module. When the EWS system fails, is damaged, or is no longer present — such as in an engine swap or standalone build — the DME will refuse to start the vehicle. We permanently remove the EWS check from the DME software, allowing the engine to start independently of the immobilizer system. This service is compatible with a wide range of BMW DME platforms.
